Can I go now, Daddy? I got to go to school now. Love you too. Aw, I love how you hug me. Oh, dear. I can’t be late. I never knew why aquatic vulpines had strong legs – they didn’t need them most of the time, but then it could be because of the fish tails. Just know that they help you get through gym class, Kim. I’ll see you in film today. Well, I’ll see you too. Sad that you’re trapped on the celluloid – I would totally free you and let you embrace my hand. I wonder what church Daddy’s going to preach at. I can’t wait until Sunday – that’s when he’s announcing the cast for the pageant. Are you coming? Yes, I am, but I have to be in your mind. The crash happened so fast – we were minding our own business down Ventura Highway, singing the song, when it hit us. Mom and Dad were thrown out of the vehicle and looked something like Buddy Holly’s corpse in the cornfield. They were yellow all over – it must’ve been the brain matter. Whatever it is, I just want to say to them that I miss them. Daddy isn’t doing me too well. When he isn’t studying for his sermon, he wants me to skate with him over at the Knoxville Skate Park. When he isn’t having fun, he wants me to bare my paws and take pictures. I’ll show him – I’ll take my own pictures. I have the fluid in my closet. I can place the negatives on paper via the fluid. I don’t know why God made aquatic vulpines to have wet, webbed paws in land/fresh water form. I wish I could find me a spiked lake. I could place one paw in the water and see what happens. Would it transpire? No, it wouldn’t. Your leg would become scaly and your paw would flatten to look like a duck’s. You’ve done it in the shower before – why would you want to do it again? Because, Perry, it’s so exciting to do the forbidden fruit. That’s why everything God creates revels in sin – simple free will. Am I really happy with you? I’m starting to doubt myself – my mother swam to get away from the life. I don’t think she loved me. Kim, I loved you when I was alive – I swam to see the world my parents saw. If I could cry underwater, I would’ve bawled tears because I had to give up that world. Oh, hello, Mrs. Saint. Call me Mrs. Stewart – Mrs. Saint does not exist at the moment. However, I’m concerning of what Freddy’s going to my little girl. Mom, I’m not little anymore. Oh, yes you are. How come I’m still inside you? You haven’t reached the age. She has, Mrs. Stewart. If you have not noticed me, I’m Perry Smith – Kim’s boyfriend. Why is a cold-blooded killer my girl’s boyfriend? Why would she fall in love with you? I told her no Electra Glide in Blue or any Robert Blake film because she would fall in love with you. I guess Freddy’s poisoning her mind. I’m not that evil, Mrs. Stewart. The only reason why people called me evil was that I had to do it or else I was nothing. It was either Willie Jay with acceptance to my ideas, Dick with the job, or back to my dad in Alaska. He would’ve broken my guitar if I came back there. You were hung, sir. Now go on. Well, she’s not in love with me as she is with him. I see what you’re talking about – I felt betrayed when he gave up his companion for some Chinese lady his companion adopted with a composer. She’s Korean, Mrs. Stewart. Even I know that. How do you know? You died in ’65. I’m alive in her mind. Mom! Perry! Stop arguing! I want to have my own individuality when I’m driving in the car. Play the song, Kim. Play it to spite your mom. I won’t have any of that nonsense, Perry. Don’t play it, Kim. Mom, I will play it. I don’t care if Maury sees me crying due to the memory – I will play it. Now, what CD was it? Here it is – Spiderland. I always liked the cover gotta focus on the road Kim well here’s a stoplight. I’ll just put that in there. And it begins: my trial. Oh, God – Kim, will you ever learn? Your bold steps will lead you into trouble. I think it would be better if you stuck with Quentin. But he’s bi, Mom! Mrs. Stewart, I think you need to listen to your daughter a bit more – you may be dead, like me, but you know one thing: she inherited your bravado. How do you know about that, you thief? You stole lives from communities! I regret the murders – I still think he was a nice man despite the throat. It was Dick’s idea – he peeved me to killing all of them. Perry, shut up. He’s talking about the fortuneteller. I’m her. I’m the one who stays rigid until he saves me – my white knight. Then the ascension comes. I must go fast. I need to let the tears not get to me. 45…50…55…58…62…64… It’s coming back – my speed won’t do it. I need to get to Maury. He will fix me. The squeak comes – the bloodied bodies on the road and they survived without a scratch! Why, God? Why must You mess with me like this? Are you that sadistic, you Egomaniac? She’s now only a part of my mind because of Kim be quiet He doesn’t want to hear you curse his name. Mom, He has tortured me enough. It’s not my fault I have to be around you and Perry all the time. Oh, be quiet. Mr. Smith’s been in your mind since June. What makes you think Perry existed I always existed Mrs. Stewart I always existed ever since she was born. Stop it. Both of you shut up! I want you to get out of my mind at school, OK? I’m not sure – you’re already shocked by my death so much, being reminded of Perry’s fatalism would only worsen the effects. I’ll sleep it off. No, Kim – nobody sleeps through death. Here’s Maury’s house – now y’all shut up in trade for dry eyes. He doesn’t get it.

The pipe was driven down into the earth. The workers on the project all clapped each other’s backs at another job well done. For the foreman, this was his fourth oil drilling and so wasn’t as nearly excited as his workers. Still, he had to admit, he was proud. Proud of a job well done. He could get to bed tonight knowing he had supplied enough fuel to last for 30 more years. Never mind that the scientist and geologist had declared this to be the last oil reserve. They still had 30 years!
Besides, he thought, if the scientist were worried about running out of fuel they would have thought of something by now, right? No. He wouldn’t let himself think like that. He didn’t want his good mood to spoil. With that in mind he agreed to go with the guys to Old Pegs’ Old Keg, the local bar.
But still, the thought would not leave his mind. Even after his breath would register 3 points over the legal limit, the thought hung around like a ghost, warning him.
What if they were right? What if there is no more oil left? What if there is no more oil left? What are we going to do? He thought. “Hey,” he told himself,” Just congratulate yourself on a job well done. You finished it and no one got hurt.”
At least no one he knew. Another tear ran down her face as one more pump sucked her dry. Only 4.55 Billion years old and yet her skin sagged down. Her hair was falling in clumps daily, long since grayed. “What is happening to me?” she cries in pain. “I should have a few billion years left! What is happening to me? Tears streamed her face as she sat down, knowing her final breath was drawing near “Not now! It shouldn’t be my time. Not now!” Mother earth yelled in anguish for the final time. Her breathing grew shallow and then stopped entirely.
Miles down in the Mother Earth’s skin, the human race woke foe the final time before realizing their mistake.

You know the old song, anything you can do, I can do better. I could anything better than you? Well when it comes to cheating females definitely have the advantages of males.

I personally believe girls are better cheaters than boys, because we girls are able to keep a secret to ourselves, on the other hand, guys just do not care. They do not have a problem kissing another girl in public, and will then turn around and tell everybody; not knowing that it is going to get back to their significant other.

And when it does, boys do what they know best. Lie.

My past boyfriend and I had experience this. Being in a relationship for five months, and on the last day of school a couple of my friends told me he cheated on me with my nemesis.

The first thing I did was called him to confirm this, and of course he lied through his teeth saying he was never with her. Even though I knew he was lying, I allowed it to slip until later on that day. I decided to call him again, and this time he told the truth.

Later on that day, I saw him; things just did not feel right between us. I could not look in his direction, because I was truly disgusted. The only question that burned threw my head were, “why her” and, “what would possess you to do something like that.”

And the only answer I seemed to receive was “I do not know”- perfect example as to why boys should not even think about cheating.

According to lifescript.com, approximately 40 percent of men seek attention outside their relationships, and that number has not changed much since 1950, when the famous research showed that 50 percent of U.S. men cheat at some point in their relationships.

Even world famous golfer, Tiger Woods got caught cheating on his wife of 7 years; Elin Nordegren, Jesse James got caught cheating his wife Sandra Bullock, and actor Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon exposed her husband Mike Nilon cheating through via email.

I am not saying that girls do not cheat; some of us do. Just know that the whole world will not know about it. Maybe a couple of people, but not the whole entire cheerleading team.

To me I think this is where guys mess up; they believe the whole football team needs to know the scandal that took place, when really it is none of their business.

Overall, girls are better cheaters than boys, hands down. Guys just do not care about who sees, where it takes place or who is it. Girls hate being called out of our names, we do things to the point where nobody will know and if you do then you are just nosey.

Therefore, guys if you are thinking about cheating then you are better off leaving it up to girls.

Young women, especially teenagers have turned to make up for many reasons.

With so many advances in makeup, cosmetic surgery, and beauty products, it seems that the many choices have caused some to start over using the products.

Makeup should be used to help women touch up their looks and have fun while doing it, not to take over their lives in that they cannot even walk out their own house without putting it on.

Not that wearing makeup or buying expensive products that promise to enhance, looking young is a bad thing. However, some individuals have been taking advantage of the merchandise in order to make themselves feel more beautiful, or try to cover up the flaws that only they can see when they look into the mirror.

Some have even gone so far as plastic surgery in order to enhance some features in their body by taking out fat or putting in an implant.

The most extreme part is that even after going through all the pain in order for their surgery to heal, a few are still not satisfied with the results, and go back for more , spending thousands upon thousands of dollars more.

In my opinion these surgeries should only be use for important matters, such as a facial reconstruction, in order to avoid stares from strangers because they have a scar or a broken nose that needs fixing.

Even with all the pros and cons of makeup and cosmetic surgery, I personally think an individual should not overdo it as to where you can see the makeup chipping off their face, or an implant so big it looks as though it might burst.

A while ago, I had a friend that loved wearing makeup.

However, the problem was that she would put too much on, and it would look like she put on a little more than necessary.

One day, we were walking together at the store, and as we were paying for our goods, the cashier asked my friend why she had so much makeup on her face, especially since she was already pretty.

My friend said “thanks” to the lady and we walked away.

Later on, she asked me if she really put on that much makeup, and I told her agreed with the cashier.

From then on she been putting on less and less make up since it took time to really get used to not wearing so much make up.

Now, she only wears eyeliner and a little touch up.

The majority of the time, it is better for one to just except their natural beauty, because it builds confidence and people like you for who you really are inside and out.

School is something that most kids have to attend. In my opinion school is not very hard if you really try or put forward enough effort in each subject.

However, there will always be a percentage of students that will fail classes. Most kids do not care or they struggle in subject.

Many teachers believe that they should help their students as much as they can, but sometimes it is impossible for teachers to do their job to the fullest extent because of the students who do not care enough about school or don’t have enough wisdom to think of their future and what education can really mean after high school.

The attitude that the students give teachers only makes the situation worse. Many teachers decide to only teach in classrooms and give tests without making sure that most students understand what they are trying to teach.

Many teachers love their jobs but find it hard to do because of the students who just do not care. Or sometimes it could be the drama that goes on school that adds on to the failing students. Man student worry about fitting in. like who to be or what they can do to have a group of friends.

This is one of the main reasons why many teens’ grades drop. They always try to be something there not which cause to skip school or miss days of school due to suspension because of drama.

I believe that if many students take enough time to look at themselves and think about what really matters the most they will make better decisions in life. I do not think that many teens realize what they do in present affect their future.

You have girls that worry about boys who they swear are their soul mates and focus more on the boys than on their own future.

If girls put more focus on their dreams and where they want to be in life instead of worrying about a fairytale dream that may never happen, I believe there can be more people passing school.

Sometimes it pains me to watch people that have a potential be something in life and never get there because a downfall that could have correct when they were young.

I think that us as the future should think more about what we do and how we think about our lives

In any relationship, you should value your self- worth and set standards; high standards, for that matter, and never sell yourself short.

In my opinion, some people, predominantly women, sometimes do not know what they are worth on this earth. So the idea of divine intervention comes into play, which explains that we all were brought here on this world for a reason. It is sad that either these women lost sight of that or that they never knew.

So, when I see women on the television showing themselves half-nude and nonchalantly, allowing herself to be looked at is if she were an object, it makes me wonder: why do they portray themselves to be treated like that.

Medialiteracy.suite101.com stated that media that objectifies women portrays them as physical objects that can be looked at and be acted upon as subjective beings with thoughts, histories, and emotions.

In reality, human beings are both objects as subjects, as they are physical collections of molecules as well as individuals. To objectify someone, then, is to reduce someone exclusively to the level of object.

Mediums, such as music videos, can play a huge part in this argument. Nowadays, most videos played on t.v. consist of partially-clothed females, which is not a great influence for our future leaders who watch these gross videos.

Personally, I am not an expert on the objectification of women, but honestly, I think the reason why it begins is not always due to society but it can come from many other reasons, such as moral values, how one has been raised, insecurities and how an individual views themselves.

According to media-awareness.ca, Provocative images of women partly clothed or naked are especially prevalent in advertising. Shari Graydon former president of Canada’s MediaWatch, argued that women’s bodies are sexualized in ads in order to grab the viewer’s attention.

Women become sexual objects when their bodies and their sexuality are linked to products that can be bought and sold.

Also, according to medialiteracy.suite101.com “Women are frequently objectified in the media. Men are sometimes objectified as well and this is not a good thing but the objectification of women is far more common. When you see an image of a woman who is presented passively, and who demonstrates no other attributes aside from her physical or sexual being, that’s objectification.”

Maybe we altogether in society are so use to the objectification around us that we do not even sense it when it is being done around us.

And, we wonder why men see women in such undermining ways.
